We are a small Melbourne based team aiming to make a difference in the world of waste.

Star Fabrics is the brainchild of our parent company - Texstar Textiles. Within the Australian wholesale textile industry, it became clear that there is a widespread issue of excess fabric going to waste. Star Fabrics was created to offer a solution to that problem. Finding a way to rescue unused fabric from the fate of landfill and instead give it a second chance at life.

We want to connect everyday people - home sewers, artists, creatives, hobbyists, and anyone who has a love for fabric - with high-quality industry fabrics that would otherwise be discarded.

We believe in a world where resources are valued, where every item can be given new life, and where creativity drives sustainable change.
